Project Site Supervisor

Position Summary

We are currently searching for a Project Site Supervisor that will work closely with the Client, Sub Contractors, Equipment Operators and others on our team and is primarily focused on the coordination and completion of conveyor projects in food processing facilities. Their duties will include meeting schedules, budgets, monitoring project scope, as well as overseeing all aspects of the project.

Salary

$85,000+ (Depending on Work Experience)

Required Travel

50%–70% throughout the United States

Responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend blueprints for use in the field and in discussion with Owners, Sub Contractors, ESC Management and crews
  • Analyze project processes – make suggestions to be efficient and effective
  • Work with crews in the field – know the deadlines and timelines crews are on, answer crew questions, guide crews to meet established deadlines
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and navigating bill of materials
  • Travel for up to a 2-week period at a time, to jobsites located across the United States
  • Assist with Estimating/Perform Quantity Take-offs
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all related parties
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 3 years as a site supervisor or superintendent
  • Ability to read and analyze blueprints relating to conveyor systems
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Managers and Suppliers
  • Ability to solve practical problems and examine a variety of tangible variables
  • Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends
  • Current driver's license, US citizen, and fluent in written and spoken English
  • Spanish speaking is a bonus
